Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions covers all aspects of airside operations (ATC, airlines and airports), including capacity and efficiency enhancement through operational studies, analysis and proactive solutions, leading to software-based decision support tools where appropriate. We also develop Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) processes between airlines, airports and ATM. Consultancy activities are supported by a comprehensive in-house software and Internet design capability.
Consultants deliver tailored pro-active solutions through operational studies and analysis meeting specific needs. The team has more recently been concentrating on studies involving processes and operational data dissemination between airport managerial support tools and operational functions.
Current Activities
Producing, for a global airline alliance customer, smart solutions for co-ordinated operations involving more than ten alliance partners.
Developing an airport movement analysis application on behalf of the States of the EUROCONTROL organisation Organisation to assist in the determination of capacity enhancing solutions.
Working with a major industry partner developing smart airport solutions to meet urgent capacity needs at airports. Using combined ATM and airports expertise, this project has considered airports as part of an overall 'gate to gate' system.
