The CDs may be written with simple computer files (such as word processor or database files) or with pre-mastered multimedia type files. Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions have the capability to produce multimedia CDs using a number of different tools including Adobe Acrobat and an extension to Quicksilver / Interleaf called WorldView Press.

Both software packages add intelligent retrieval capabilities to the standard document such as full-text index and hyperlinks providing the reader with easy and fast access to relevant information using push-buttons located throughout the document.

Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions produce and maintain a number of multimedia reference CDs for our clients including a multimedia infobase for the UK Ministry of Defence.
