NATO TDL Standards
The Company’s Consultants have provided technical support, over many years, to the UK Integration Authority, Operational Requirements staff and Ministry of Defence (MOD) Project Offices for the maintenance and development of NATO TDL Standards documentation.
The nature of this support has included:
- Technical review of Data Link Change Proposals (DLCPs).
- Comment Sheets and Working Papers to assess the impact on current/planned UK TDL implementations and operational procedures.
- Review of UK TDL implementations and procedures against NATO TDL standards.
- Production of DLCP solutions and provision of direct support at international and national TDL meetings.
UK TDL Standards
The Tactical Data Link Standards Policy specifies the documents that define bit-oriented tactical communications between co-operating tactical platforms.
Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions has comprehensive expertise in this area, having developed and produced, on behalf of the Integration Authority, the majority of UK TDL Standards documents, including generic TDL Interoperability Requirements and Interface Requirements Specifications (IRS) and specific Platform Implementation Difference Documents (PIDD).
DStan Helpdesk Supporter
Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions is a participant in the Ministry of Defence UK Defence Standardization (DStan) Customer Care Programme.
