Scoping Studies
Training is an expensive activity for any organisation. However, to keep the competitive edge, working practices and procedures must be cutting-edge. Working with our customer, Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services will clearly identify all assumptions and constraints within a perceived Training Requirement, produce a report detailing the factors, assumptions and constraints of a customer’s Requirement and recommend possible solutions. These may – or may not – include training. If they do, the report will outline the management and resourcing requirements to ensure that the final training outcome is fully justified and clearly meets the customer’s needs.
Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
It doesn’t matter how much time or money your organisation invests in new technology or working practices, it is the skills and expertise of its personnel that determine its success or otherwise. Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services recognises the importance of providing training solutions that address directly the Business Requirement. A Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services will formulate your requirements in a formal and structured fashion.
Following established guidelines derived from proven military practice, our consultants will ensure that the TNA process is based on a systematic, product-based approach which will provide the customer with an auditable trail of the decision-making process behind the recommended solution(s). Furthermore, the TNA will determine whether or not training is required, and can suggest alternatives to training, if appropriate. As well as identifying any Training Requirement, Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services will also recommend how the Training Requirement may be satisfied.
Training Gap Analysis
Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services recognises the importance of Training Gap Analysis within the wider Training Requirements/TNA context. The production of a comprehensive and accurate Gap Analysis is key to the delivery of training that meets the required time, cost and performance criteria. Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services is able to offer the customer a substantial capability in Training Gap Analysis. The resulting Requirements documents, and their associated Requirements databases, provide project managers with requirements traceability to enable training to be managed more effectively and for course evaluation and validation criteria to be defined from the outset and audited as the training programme develops.
Training Option Analysis
All training costs are an overhead and, in a competitive market, the training methods and the media used must be directly targeted at the Training Need. Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services can provide the customer with advice and consultancy on the wide range of delivery media available today, covering the full range from traditional instructor-centric training through to self-managed student-centred e-learning solutions.
In conducting a Training Options Analysis, Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services will look at different combinations of training methods and media to determine those which would bridge the training gap in the most cost-effective manner. Each method and/or media is analysed in combination, or independently, for its training and cost effectiveness to ensure the most appropriate delivery method to suit our customer's needs.
TNA Post-Project Evaluation
No training solution is complete unless its effectiveness is evaluated. With its proven independent stance and its experienced training professionals, Lockheed Martin UK - Integrated Systems & Solutions Training Services is ideally place to evaluate the training process. This vital step in the training cycle assesses and reports to the customer on the effectiveness of either the management of a TNA process or the capability of the endorsed training solution in meeting our customer’s business requirement, as appropriate. The post-project evaluation report provides our customers with a document specifying the effectiveness of a training strategy and the resources used to design and support that training.
